Privacy policy

Rainline Garden is owned and operated by X Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the site.

What we collect

Rainline Garden has no accounts. The ZIP code you enter is matched to a town inside your browser and is never sent to our server. Your browser's local storage keeps a few things on your own device: the last town you chose, your light or dark display choice, the jobs you tick off and the region you pick on the monthly chores page, and your garden plan if you make one on the My garden plan page (the town, the plants you picked, tasks you checked off, bed sizes, your harvest log and your notes). None of it is sent to us. The plant quiz runs in your browser too: your answers are kept in the page address so you can share your results, and are never sent to us. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser or with the "Clear my plan" link on the plan page.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Affiliate links

Some links to products go to Amazon. Amazon may set its own cookies when you follow them.

Hosting and fonts

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log visitor IP addresses for security. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service.
